Now am I giving up on weight loss? Oh heeeeellll no! I'm nearing the end of week 2 of Ripped in 30 and I plan to replace running with walking. Cooking and food is my passion and I'm still learning how to make my favorite foods a tad more healthy. Tonight is healthy chicken pot pie. I'm very excited and I better be off here soon to get it started!
My heartburn/reflux stuff has been horrible so I tried the home remedy of a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. I chased it with a little apple juice and water. It burned all the way down just like a shot of whiskey...but at least whiskey warms you afterward....evil vinegar. I hope it works because Zantac is expensive. My mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law, and my mom suggested it to me months ago so it's about time to follow their advice since I'm getting sick of taking pills. If that doesn't work it looks like an upper GI endoscopy is in my future. Please work evil vinegar.

So this blog will still continue. I'm thinking about changing it a bit. We'll see what I come up with.
My broken heart will heal and I will still lose weight. I'm not giving up there. It's harder to give up on losing weight when I know that my physical health will worsen. So for now, good bye running! Maybe I'll see you again in a few months? Hopefully.
Aww so sorry! But it does sound like it's the right thing to do at this time. There are plenty of other activities you can be doing instead though!
ReplyDeleteHow did you guys like the new Who ep?
I'm still doing the 2 races I signed up for but there will be walking involved...mostly. At least I will have completed a 5K. :) We LOVED the new Who ep! I watched Orphan Black too and am quite intrigued by it. At least TV is good again for a few weekends!
